At Imperial Iron Doors, we manufacture our hand-forged iron door units
at our own facility located in Monterrey, Mexico. Our proprietary
electronic ordering system allows efficient communication between the
sales office and our Mexico Facility.
Our custom hand-forged iron doors preserve the sense of openness while
providing full protection with interior glass panels that open
independently from the door. This feature provides added security and
allows for easy ventilation and cleaning.
All iron doors are constructed of 14 gauge steel. We use 5/8" solid steel
bars for all of our hand forged scroll-work.
Our iron doors come pre-hung in a steel frame to accommodate the doors
weight.
Mounting flanges are attached to all frames for ease of installation.
Iron doors come equipped with hinged glass panels that open independently
from the door. This allows cleaning of the glass along with increased
ventilation and security.
All our iron doors come insulated as standard with a high quality foam
insulation that is pumped into the frame and the door itself.
Top and bottom flush bolts are used on all double doors to secure the
in-active door.
We use a high quality foam weather strip which attaches to the frame
of the door and also a rubber weather strip which is placed on the
hinged glass frame for a tight seal.
Our iron doors also include a neoprene door sweep and an adjustable bronze
aluminum sill.
All our iron doors are custom made to order and are available in any size
or shape of door, balcony or gate.
Our standard hardware preparation on a double door is 2 1/8" bore, 2
3/8" backset, 5 1/2" center to center. On a single door the backset is
2 3/4." We also offer a wide range of pull handles as an alternative.
All doors are fabricated to accommodate 5/8" insulated tempered glass.
However, we can accommodate other sizes if communicated at time of the
order.
Glass is not included in the price of our doors, but we offer a wide
selection of clear and obscure glass to choose from.
Doors can be made either inswing or outswing.
All customers recieve CAD drawings for approval prior to production to
ensure every detail is met.
